Pac-Man, video game's most famous icon, will
star in his own 3D action-adventure game. This is Pac-Man like you’ve never seen him
before. The game features our hero in a totally free 3D environment where he runs, eats,
flies, jumps, swims, and rockets his way through over 30 levels. "We wanted to create unique levels of game play, yet retain the history associated with Pac-Man," said Jason Weesner, the project’s Lead Designer. "These include Pac's house, a ghost town, a dot factory, and even an archeology dig site where you can unearth historical Pac-Man items and see Pac-Man's evolution over the past 18 years." Pac-Man 3D is the first PlayStation title designed and developed by Namco Hometek's U.S. product development team and the first time Namco has featured the popular character in 3D. Fans of the original 2D Pac-Man won't be disappointed either. The game also includes the original dot-munching, ghost-chasing maze action but this time in 3D. All of the original favorite characters such as Inky, Blinky, and Clyde, are still there, along with a whole new cast of characters. Original music and mazes from the classic, original Pac-Man arcade game will also be featured.
